Nestled amidst cozy beaches, vineyards, and oceanfront vistas, The Hamptons is an ideal wedding destination.

As a Hamptons wedding planner, my team and I are here to take care of all of the details, so that you can dream up your perfect wedding weekend, and we can make it come to life. We guide you through every step of the process, from finding the best venue, to a beautiful design that is tailored to you.

Whether you live in New York City and are looking for a blend of sophisticated and laid-back luxury, or are traveling from across the country, this guide will help you start planning your unforgettable Hampton Wedding.

About Getting Married In The Hamptons

The Hamptons are made up of picture-perfect seaside villas, including Southampton, East Hampton, and Montauk. Because this is a destination town, the wedding season starts in the late Spring and goes through early Fall, with venues bookings 12-18 months in advance. As your wedding planner, we will help you select the best venue, and secure room blocks so that guests can stay close by. With limited hotels and bed & breakfast inns, reception venues, and guest accommodations fill up quickly.

Most of our couples want to create a complete wedding weekend, with a pre-wedding drink overlooking the ocean, to a quintessential Sunday brunch. And The Hamptons provide some of our favorite spots that your guests will love!

And don’t worry - we will create a rain backup plan so that nothing skips a beat.

Love Note

As your trusted Hamptons wedding planner, I've curated a collection of the areas most enchanting wedding venues, the best vendors, and my favorite hidden gems. While the Hamptons are a two hour drive from NYC, and most vendors will travel to the area, keep in mind that accommodations may need to be provided for them.

Favorite Hamptons Wedding Vendors

Venues

Wedding venues often book 12-18 months in advance, so it’s important to be flexible on your wedding day. They also range from $15,000- $30,000 to rent, with some requiring you to book additional rentals. Each venue offers its own unique blend of charm and gorgeous views.

Love Note

“Ashley has the best energy, and honestly, during the wedding, it was like having another best friend there. You'll be lucky to have her by your side.”

Traveling To The Hamptons

Getting to The Hamptons from NYC takes 60-90 minutes. You can take the train, or a bus like the Hampton Jitney and Hampton Luxury Liner. The LIRR takes you to Montauk from Penn Station, Grand Central or Jamaica. While most of the areas are walkable and bike-friendly, a car can make it easier to get around since Uber wait times can be long.

Most beaches require a beach pass - so if you are going for the beach, we recommend staying at a resort that is on a beach, so you can get easy access. (or find a hotel that has beach passes to use for the day!)

For shopping, Sag Harbor offers the most locally owned boutiques in the Hamptons. For luxury shopping, East Hampton Town and Southampton have the best designer store fronts.

And if you are thinking of spending the afternoon at a Winery, we love Wölffer Estate Vineyard! They host events, live music and popup artists.
