My Morning Routine
Morning routines... who else has one? I believe that having a structured and a routine morning sets the pathway for a productive day. You are able to set your intentions, goals and overall mood for the day. Below is a look inside to mine:
Meditation: I meditate every morning between 5-30 minutes. This really helps me focus and set intentions for the day. If I am doing a guided mediation, I sometimes use YouTube but I mainly use Podcasts to meditation:
Β· Meditation Minis: These are great as they are about 5-10 minutes long and are guided meditations that are helpful if you are just a beginner.
Β· Hay House Meditations: If you have ever read a spiritual or self-growth book, it was probably from Hay House Publication. These mediations are longer and start around the 20-minute mark and are all from Hay House authors, which are amazing!
Visualization: I have a vision board on Pinterest & one that I made from magazine cut outs and other printed imagery that I use for this. Visualizing helps you to set you goals and actually see them which helps to manifest them into your life. For example, on my vision board I have personal things such as places I want to travel, down to the exact town, and business things such as conferences that I want to speak at to the income I want to hit monthly.
Gratitude Journal: This I actually do in the morning & at night. I write down 3-5 things I am grateful. They can be as simple as "I am grateful for getting a good nights sleep". A grateful heart can lead to miracles. If you arenβt grateful for what you have, you cannot expect to receive more abundance into your life.
Affirmations: Now this is a whole separate post (which I am writing!) , but I have affirmations that I say daily and I also write them out in a notebook. I say "I AM" affirmations such as "I am successful in any business that I own". Writing these out and saying them daily helps to shift your mind to believing and acting "as if" all of these are true.
Making my bed: This has been something I have done since childhood that I never even realized was a thing! Completing this small task in the morning releases to your brain a sense of accomplishment! Also, who doesn't love crawling into a nicely made bed at the end of the day?
I would love to hear what your morning routines are!
