I am a big fan of champagne. And mimosas with brunch make my heart sing. September is the start of my favorite season, Fall! And although it doesn’t feel like it yet, we just hit a record high heat in NYC!, we are getting into apple picking, pumpkin spiced lattes, football games and tailgating, and my new favorite mimosa, Apple Cider Mimosa. This recipe is really a no brainer, you mix champagne and apple cider. But, this twist on the classic really will make you look like a genius at your next brunch gathering.
Cinnamon & Sugar mixture for rim (optional)
Apple wedges for garnish
Wet the rim of the champagne glass and dip in a mixture of cinnamon and sugar
Pour champagne glass ½ full of apple cider
Top it off with champagne
Add an apple wedge for garnish to look fancy
